Thanks to its location Casachianti is the ideal starting point for a cultural and artistic tour around Tuscany and the crossing point of very interesting natural itineraries and routes that are part of the excursion programme 'Dolce campagna, antiche mura'.

The rooms are on the first floor (the ground floor is taken up by a little restaurant which is open only in the evening)and are very large. The floors are in Tuscan cotto, ceilings have open beams and entresols are in cotto and the furniture are original tuscan country style. There is a shared kitchen available for all guests where breakfast can be provided every morning.

Casachianti is in the very heart of Tuscany between Florence (35 Km far) and Siena (40 Km far) and only one hour drive from Pisa and the sea. It is located on the typical tuscan "rolling hills" in the greenness of cypresses and holm-oaks and among the Chianti vineyards. It is surrounded by countless medieval towns and castles and is only 7 km away from the medieval town of Certaldo, the birthplace of the famous writer Boccaccio and 18 km far from San Gimignano, famous for its towers and its magnificent historical centre.

From Airport:
Firenze airport is 35 km far while Pisa airport is about one hour drive from Casachianti. From Firenze airport you will have to follow the indications to the motorway to Siena. Then exit Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and turn left to the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and when you are there turn right to Marcialla and then go ahead to Fiano. In Fiano turn left to Certaldo and after 1 Km you will find Casachianti on your right hand side. To reach Casachianti from Pisa you have to take the motorway "SGC FI-PI-LI" just outside the airport. Then exit Ginestra Fiorentina and follow the indications to Montespertoli. In Monetspertoli turn left to Lucardo and Fiano and in Fiano go ahead towards Certaldo: after leaving Fiano you will find Casachianti after 1 Km on your right hand side.

From Station :
The nearest station is in Certaldo (7 Km far). To reach Casachianti from Certaldo you will have to follow the indications to Fiano.

From Motorway:
Motorway A1 (exit at Florence-Certosa). Take the "Palio" motorway Florence-Siena and exit Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Turn left to the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and turn right towards Marcialla-Certaldo. At Marcialla turn right towards Fiano. At Fiano turn left towards Certaldo. After about 1 km you will see Casachianti on your right.
