Castello di Tornano is situated on the top of a green hill at 5 km from the village of Gaiole in Chianti and 16 km from the town of Siena. Tornano is surrounded by the typical Chianti hills with vinyards.The area has many historical sites as Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, San Gimignano, Montalcino. The thermal spa of Rapolano Terme is only 30 minutes driving from the Castle.
From Airport:
From the Airport of Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" take the motorway A1 towards Rome.Then take the exit at Valdarno,and follow towards Montevarchi, and then follow the directions to Gaiole in Chianti Siena .You have to pass the village of Gaiole and continue for about 5 km, on your right follow the directions to TORNANO.
From Station :
From the railway station of Siena take the road towards Arezzo. At the second roundabout follow the directions to Gaiole in Chianti ,follow the road 408 for about 25 km, 5 km before the village of Gaiole you will find a road sign on your right with the directions to CASTELLO DI TORNANO.
From Motorway:
If you arrive by car from Florence, take the motorway A1 towards Rome.Then take the exit at Valdarno,and follow towards Montevarchi, and then follow the directions to Gaiole in Chianti Siena .You have to pass the village of Gaiole and continue for about 5 km, on your right follow the directions to TORNANO.
