Our hotel, situated in one of Florence?s most central streets is to be found in a Building which goes back to the 17th century, A marble stone dated 1807 proves that in the seventeen hundreds it was used as a residence for monks from the nearby Santa Maria Novella monastry, (100 yards away).
It became a hotel in 1912 and was run by the same family up until 1975, when it was taken over by the present proprietors who take great pride in providing the maximum of hospitality and comfort.
Hotel Nizza has now been completely transformed with the last remodernisation made during the winter of the years 2000/2001 the 18 rooms have been totally renovated with private bathroom, air conditioning, satelite television, hair dryer, direct telephone line, so becoming a top quality hotel in its category.

From Airport:
From Florence Airport, A. Vespucci the easiest way to reach the hotel is to take a taxi that brings you to the hotel in 20 minutes, or you can use the shuttle bus service (every 30 minutes) that takes you to the central station of Florence. From there you can reach the hotel also on foot as it's very close to it. If you arrive to Pisa Airport, G. Galilei you can catch a train to Florence (1 hour - departure and arrival of trains inside airport)
From Station :
From the train station you can reach the hotel even by foot - go to Piazza dell'Unità Italiana and in front of the square you can find Via Giglio.
From Motorway:
Arriving from the north, exit ?Firenze Nord? Arriving from the south exit ?Firenze Certosa? In both cases follow the directions for the centre - to the central station Santa Maria Novella. [ Back to Top ]
